Anchorage Daily News wants only the liberal discussion

Follows is my letter to Patrick Doyle, President and Publisher of the Anchorage Daily News (www.adn.com).

Mr. Pat Doyle,
President/Publisher
P.O. Box 149001
Anchorage, Alaska 99514

Re: Shannon Moore’s recent column regarding rape and abortion; banning from making comments

Mr. Doyle:

I became engaged in the commenting process to Ms. Moore’s very recent piece on rape and abortion. I considered her piece very offensive. She made bald faced assertions with her comments that were simply libelous in any other context, were the objects thereof not in the public purview–politicians. She also included conservatives in general, which I am, as subjects of her rage. I also noted that the bent of her opinion piece venting her spleen dealt with the subjects of rape and abortion. She offered nothing constructive as to anything to diminish either rape or abortion. Further, Ms. Moore totally ignored the illegal practices in contravention to State and federal law by Planned Parenthood of not notifying the authorities of the rape of underage girls by adult males.

I noted those commenting and realized that with one or two exceptions, the vast majority of comments arose from the left of the community in support of her rabid fomenting against the Republicans mentioned by name, and conservatives in general, thereby including yours truly in that group. Her attack was simply outrageous, inaccurate, and served no purpose other than to divide the community.

I responded to several of the commenters by noting that the platform of the Democratic Party was at opposition with the philosophy and intent of our Framers and Founding Fathers as expressed in the Constitution. I did use the word traitor as a description of anyone who believed that our rights under the Constitution were other than endowed by a Creator, and, therefore immutable by man. As a result, I was also called a ‘traitor and coward’ for my National Guard and Army Reserve service by commenters using the user Ids Frostyone and FrankieFlynn. They did not appreciate my conservative interpretation of the Democratic initiatives assaulting faith, patriotism, family, the value of our children, and supernatural basis for our rights under the Constitution. However, I did not seek their exclusion from the conversation.

In fact, FrankieFlynn evidently had access to a database that showed my military record, as he made derisive comments regarding the length of time it took me to make E-5. Both Flynn and Frosty then labeled me as a coward and traitor, which, taken in context became inclusive of all NG and Reserve members, past and present.

I believe that Flynn used a computer that was either State or Federal to find the information

regarding my military record, which he then used that information, which is privileged, private, and confidential, as the basis to make derisive comments.

Those inappropriate comments did not really bother me, as anyone who is familiar with the reserve components knows, one has to have a slot to justify the rank, and one is not promoted without having a slot allowing the promotion. The Alaska National Guard, and I have been both Air and Army Guard, is relatively small in comparison to the federal military. The Army Reserve at the time had only one unit in Alaska. Therefore, opportunity for promotion was very limited in the units to which I belonged. Just the way it works.

However, it is the use of information derived from a federal or state database that is the issue, and I will be making a complaint to the FBI, the Army and USAF regarding the situation. FrankieFlynn implied in his comments and by his access to the information that he may have been active duty or a civilian employee of the military or the State of Alaska in a capacity that gave him access to the info. He may have violated the law. Banning me, and not taking any action against FrankieFlynn or Frostyone shows agreement with their conduct by virtue of allowing those comments to remain. No reasonable individual could believe that Date of Rank information is in the public domain and readily accessible. Therefore, whomever made the decision to ban my comments discriminated against me, but allowed the illegal use of confidential information to remain, thereby condoning the conduct.

The fact that I have been banned from making further comments on any article in ADN I find discriminatory, given the outrageous nature of Ms. Moore’s inclusion of every conservative minded person as the object of her rant. My banning demonstrates that the ADN is not interested in fostering any community discussion, but rather promoting only one viewpoint. In which case, you have lost a reader and one who has placed many comments contributing to many discussions. I have even had Compass pieces published in the past.

The liberal at ADN who made the decision to ban any further comments on my part served to ignore what was clearly 1st Amendment protected political speech on my part with my criticisms of the Democratic Party’s policies. My banning made my points about the inability of the liberal mind to tolerate an opposing viewpoint.

I am a 58 year Alaska who writes and will comment upon this hypocrisy on the part of ADN and its liberal bent elsewhere. Your paper’s liberal bent is out of touch with this community and Alaska.

Maybe, one day, the liberals who comment and the management of ADN will cease to be intolerant and allow a public discourse without restoring to ad hominem attacks or the public dissemination of private information on the ADN’s website?

I truly look forward to the day after the coming election. I am looking forward to the collective howl from the liberal community over their realization that they are not in the mainstream of political and social thought in this country.

Regards,
Lawrence D. Wood (Larry)

WTF???!!!!!!!!

The following would seem to indicate that Alaska has some degree of protection for the unborn.

AS 11.41.282. Assault of an Unborn Child in the Second Degree.

(a) A person commits the crime of assault of an unborn child in the second degree if
(1) with intent to cause physical injury to an unborn child or to another person, that person causes serious physical injury to an unborn child;
(2) that person recklessly causes serious physical injury to an unborn child; or
(3) that person recklessly causes serious physical injury to an unborn child by repeated assaults, even if each assault individually does not cause serious physical injury.
(b) Assault of an unborn child in the second degree is a class B felony.

AS 11.41.282. Assault of an Unborn Child in the Second Degree.

(a) A person commits the crime of assault of an unborn child in the second degree if
(1) with intent to cause physical injury to an unborn child or to another person, that person causes serious physical injury to an unborn child;

Sounds good, doesn't it.  Protecting the unborn, right?  Our gov and the Legislature did good, right?  BS.

AS 11.41.289. Applicability of S 11.41.280 and 11.41.282.

AS 11.41.280 and 11.41.282 do not apply to acts that
(1) cause serious physical injury or physical injury to an unborn child if those acts were committed during a legal abortion to which the pregnant woman consented or a person authorized by law to act on her behalf consented, or for which consent is implied by law;
(2) are committed under usual and customary standards of medical practice during diagnostic testing, therapeutic treatment, or to assist a pregnancy; or
(3) are committed by a pregnant woman against herself and her own unborn child.

Example:

Pregnant woman is using methamphetimines and other illegal drugs during pregnancy.  The child is later born, the damage to the unborn is life-long from the drugs, and results in an obligation upon the State to provide healthcare and mental services for the child.

According to 11.41.289, because it was the woman doing the drugs, the unborn has no say, no rights, but the rest of us have to deal with the mess if the child is born. (????!!!!!)  The mother should be held accountable.  Period.  Using drugs is illegal in the first place.  How is it that when your drug use harms another, you are not held accountable?

I am certain every male pothead, methhead, and dope fiend in Alaska laments "Oh, to be a pregnant female."

Example:

Pregnant woman is living with an abusive spouse or boyfriend.  The child is harmed by physical abuse, resulting in the miscarriage of child.  Should the woman be held accountable under the law?  YES.  She enabled the abuser by failing to get the authorities involved. 11.41.280 needs to be expanded to cover enabling.  Letting the guy or gal beat on her is her problem up until the pregnancy, afterwhich, the issue becomes the harm to the child.  Her silence is assent to the harm to the child.  She has a greater duty to the unborn, because the child is helpless, than in protecting her abuser.  Again, society pays the price.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Where were our Republican legislators' and their respect for life in the aforementioned statutes?
So much for the Gov's pogrom on abuse.  Kind of dropped the round short, don't you think?

This is not my idea of progress . . .

“. . . His views on contraception, gay rights, and even that of higher education all would shove years of progress into the trash bin. . . .”—Daniel D. Grota, Separation of church and state, Rick Santorum blew it, 3 March, 2012 Frontiersman www.frontiersman.com

I believe that Mr. Grota also “blew it” when it came to the issue of the Constitution.

I do not believe that I swore an oath to uphold, defend and to preserve the same constitution that he did. My Constitution is the supreme law of the land that values life, liberty, family, the unborn, our culture, our language and the preservation and defense of our sovereignty. Our Constitution is what provided us with the freedom from tyranny that made the United States the most powerful nation on the face of the earth. Mr. Grota’s constitution decries those attributes and that achievement.

“years of progress” . . . well, if that “progress” is measured in terms of aborted babies, I guess “progress” was made with the lives of 54 million Americans who were sacrificed to the liberal need to change our society from one that was known for its sanctity of life to something much, much darker and draconian. The current call for infanticide is just another step in devaluing life and removing each of us as a creation of God to something whose value is determined by the despot of the moment. A sacrifice that brought us massive illegal migration to fill the job void of these unborn Americans, because of the liberal desire to kill rather to reinforce morality, personal responsibility, and duty—there was a time when getting a girl pregnant was a certain way find one’s self in wedlock.

I guess that “progress” is measured in the number of unwed mothers due to the intense liberal media, liberal entertainment industry, and the passage of laws that prevent exercise by the parents over their children that contributes to the number of unwed teen mothers, and the statutory rape of minor children by adults who are egged on by liberals who say “aw, they will just do it anyway . . . “—no, they won’t if they understand the idea of personal responsibility, morality, integrity and honor. However, we let 13 year old girls get raped by older men—statistically, 12 and 13 year old girls get pregnant by sex with 22 to 40 year old men—and the crimes go unreported so that Planned Parenthood can make a buck and continue the profitable destruction of morality in this country.

If “progress” is the destruction of the family, I guess there is “progress”. The liberal indoctrination of our children in the idea that marriage is something that you throw away if you get tired of the person or angry with them for whatever reason goes unfettered in movies, ads, and television. The State will take care of the female with child. The male has little moral responsibility any more. This has lead to the disaffection from marriage by many women and men. No responsibility or commitment.

Then, there is the ‘progress’ that is the hypocrisy demonstrated in the perversion of marriage by courts and legislators who accede to the liberal and homosexual agenda that demands marriage between homosexuals in churches, even though religion bars such and the 1st Amendment bars any interference by government in religion.

I guess that “progress” is the imposition of a 1st Amendment “right” to view pornography and to display homosexual porn prominently in our public libraries where our children can see this garbage, along with homosexual perversions in public during public parades. I guess that “progress” is the complete nullification by liberal courts and legislators without principle of our duty to protect our children from such objectionable material and conduct.

I guess this “progress” that is referred to is ignoring the continued attack on the 1st Amendment by the homosexual activists and liberals who agree with the agenda. Hate speech? Not as long as the 1st Amendment stands. This is not liberal Europe without a Bill of Rights, even though the liberal courts are going hell bent for leather to rewrite the Bill of Rights.

I guess “progress” is the liberal attack on the Second Amendment across the country through the blatant attempt to disarm the law abiding citizen and to control the purchase and carry of their firearms. Why is it that the liberal always requires the law abiding citizen to “retreat” in the face of an attack upon their lives and property?

I could go on with this, but you get the idea.

I did not swear an oath to defend, protect and preserve the same ideals as did Mr. Grota. Either the pendulum begins to swing back to what our Forefathers actually intended, or, there will be another Great American Revolution. I will not be on Mr. Grota’s side in that one.

Rights of our Children

Our children have rights.
They have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
They have the right to be free to imagine, grow, play, learn, and to expect love, protection and compassion from adults.
Instead, we have abortion, we have NAMBLA, we have lesbian recruiting in our high schools and junior highs, we have NEA prosetlyzing the homosexual lifestyle openly in our schools, and we have an anti-family, anti-Christian, anti-American culture being promoted by our liberal politicians and liberal educators through federal edicts tied to federal funds at the very highest levels of government down to our schools.
We are silent when it comes to child sexual abuse.
We are silent when it comes to physical abuse of children—I mean physical abuse, I don’t mean a swat on the butt for being naughty!
We are silent when sex is promoted to our youngest children as being something that they should be engaging in at an early age.
We are silent when Madison Avenue promotes sex to our kids like candy.
We are silent when the clothes our children wear make them look like a $2 whore or gangbanger.
We are silent when a child speaks filth.
We are silent when a child disrespects an adult.
We are silent when our children kill one another, rape one another, and injure one another.
We are silent when we allow our children to be used by others for crime, to commit murder and mayhem.
What are we conservatives doing?
We are letting it happen.
The only battle line is abortion. The only outcry is for or against abortion.
Our pastors in the pulpits are cowards who mouth words, but fail to find out if their flock is healthy, or diseased, part of the problem, or a potential solution.
We let our politicians lie and steal, yet we say and do nothing.
We let our courts ignore the moral law and practice an unequal application of the secular law when it comes to justice for a child harmed by an adult or another child.
We are such cowards and so morally bankrupt that we cannot protect our children.
One nation under God, justice and liberty for all . . . except for our children.

The petition for the rights of the unborn

A national movement has finally hit Alaska. This movement seeks to extend Constitution protection to the right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” to the unborn. Given former Governor Sarah Palin’s avowed pro-life stance, one wonders if Governor Sean Parnell will add his voice in support of this initiative?

Thus far, Parnell has stood firm on Palin’s policies and even moved forward with a few of his own. Parnell has strongly advocated support for education by promoting an educational policy that would give those with a B average a choice of college or a technical vocational school. He has supported increasing the Village Public Safety Officer program, encouraging increased recruitment to fill vacancies in the program. He also called for increasing the Alaska State Trooper presence to an additional 2 troopers in Bethel, a regional hub, an additional 2 troopers in Nome and one in Nome. At the AFN convention, he also called for increased education along with increased enforcement to curb the endemic of violence and sexual abuse in the villages. Parnell has also called for increasing tax credits to the tourism industry to try to stimulate that sector of the economy. Unlike Sarah Palin, his predecessor, Parnell has yet to speak out on the issue of whether or not the State should be in the business of killing babies in the womb.

The impact of this initiative would raise the awareness that sex has consequences. At present, the female under U.S. law may abort a pregnancy, even if her spouse or male partner disagrees with that decision. Statutory rape in many cases of minor pregnancies goes unreported, as Planned Parenthood, which opposes this initiative, has time and again ignored the law in such matters, counseling always to abort the unborn in such cases. Never once, counseling to prosecute for the abuse and victimization of the minor female.

Statistically, it is rare for a 13 year old girl to be impregnated by having sex with a minor male. The male’s age in such cases seems to run from 18 to 42, with the average age of those males victimizing young girls being in the 20s to early 30s. Even Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, that icon of the ACLU, has advocated that the age of consent for females be lowered to 12.

This victimization of the underaged female, and the failure of society to remark or to react with condemnation point to the success of the goal of the liberals who want to use our children for sex toys. This success is marked by the revealing clothes young girls wear, MTV, the ever younger indoctrination of our young in public schools about sex and alternative lifestyles, and the advertizing and music that they are inundated with. The exploitation and current depravity of Britney Spears is heralded as a role model for young girls. In schools, girls display colored bands to denote what they are willing to do or what they have done sexually.

Abortion is part of the desensitization of society to the taboos associated with how we view and treat our young, subject to our individual and societal moral compass. Which compass is usually a product of exposure to religion at some point or another. After all, we term our system of religion and law Judeo-Christian.

The homosexual agenda shares in the goal of the liberal establishment that seeks to breakdown morality and the family to accomplish recruitment for casual sex at ever younger ages. One of the most notable examples is the North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), supported by Kevin Jennings, President Obama's director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools (OSDFS).

Another byproduct of abortion is the current illegal migrant worker situation. These are foreign nationals that are in the U.S. illegally, who are taking jobs, benefits and resources that are rightfully the purview of the naturalized U.S. citizen and their children. Abortion has created the demand for labor by terminating approximately 45 million Americans before birth, too many in the last trimester of the reproductive process. We have killed those before they are born who would otherwise be there to replace an aging and diminishing U.S. workforce.

Abortion has created paradoxes in our law that has resulted in the paradox of those who kill the unborn being hailed by the liberal establishment as heroes. On the other hand, the unborn who is considered viable, but killed in a car wreck caused by a drunk driver becomes a victim and subject to the protection of the law as a count of manslaughter or second degree murder.

Our governor could define his moral compass to the Alaska public by speaking in support of this initiative. Let us hope that he does so in the near future.

Ginsberg supports genocide . . .

Only the liberal mind could come up with such a reason to support something as aborrhent as abortion. To rid the U.S. of unwanted populations. Man, right out of the Hitler playbook.

Who determines who is fit to survive to birth? Why the liberal elite, of course.

What happens if your kid is one of the undesirable population to eliminated? Abortion.

How sick is all of the above?

Whose opinion is this?

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the ACLU poster queen.

Libs. What morons.

Now we know.

Genocide.

Undesirables.

Which population segment has the most abortions per capita?

Black American females.

Doesn't take much to figure out which demographic is referred to as 'undesireable' on the part of Ginsberg.

How can black Americans vote Democrat and slaughter the unborn, fail to promote marriage and promote eduction and success in their young?

How does it feel to be played the fool, black America?

Martin Luther King must be rolling in his grave.

The murder of one of our soldiers serving this country stands below that of the murder of a killer of babies?????!!!!

An American soldier is wounded and another killed while standing in front of a recruiting station in Alabama. The act is committed by a black Muslim, practicing the peaceful dictates of his religion. What does our President do to find the killer and any associates of this killer?

NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

Yet the murderer of Dr. Tillman, an aborionist specializing in late term abortions, is killed and all the stops are pulled out to find any associates in the pro life movement.

Yet, the jihadi, a home grown, prison graduate, who found radical Islam while in prison and who decided that he hated the U.S. military and that his religion dictated that he kill on U.S. soil, was just a lonely, misguided moron acting alone. What about his Imam? What about those who encouraged him? Who associated with him?! Those who taught him to hate and that it was alright to KILL our soldiers on American soil in the name of ALLAH?!!!

Nah. He was a black Muslim. Just misguided. Just having a bad day. Decided to off a couple of GIs at a local recruiting station in Alabama. Practice a little jihad on home turf. Just a local, misguided, misunderstood, black Muslim. A practioner of the religion of "peace".

You are showing your true colors, Mr. President.

May G0d bless the families of those two soldiers, may he have mercy and compassion upon the young man killed for no reason and his family, and my he grant the same for the wounded man and his family.

Hey, libs, you proud you voted for Pres. Obama?

The murder of one of our soldiers serving this country stands below that of the murder of a killer of babies?????!!!!

Sarah Palin is pro life, so why a judge that is not?

Sarah Palin appointed Anchorage Superior Court Judge Morgan Christen to the Alaska Supreme Court. Christen was the highest rated candidate submitted by the Alaska Judicial Counsel.

Alaska’s constitution requires that the governor fill vacancies to the Alaska Supreme Court by choosing a qualified candidate from a list of members of the Alaska Bar vetted by the Alaska Judicial Council. The names submitted to Palin were vetted by a questionnaire put to Bar members. The answers were tallied, and scored by an independent group. Christen and Palmer Superior Court Judge Erik Smith were the two individuals with the highest scores.

In choosing Judge Christen, Governor Sarah Palin appointed a judge who was a board member of the Planned Parenthood, a pro abortion organization. Further, her credentials are decidedly liberal, as well as obviously “pro choice”, read pro murder of the unborn.

Although, Sarah Palin had no choice of accepting a list with Judge Christen’s name, she had a choice in naming Christen to the Supreme Court of Alaska. The governor is not limited to the highest score by the Alaska Judicial Council, and can select any name, or demand additional candidates be named for selection.

When Sarah Palin was running for Governor, her stance was unabashedly pro life. She would not compromise on that position, no matter how hard the questioner tried. I know, I attended many of the candidate forums, and listened and watched those on radio and TV. I spoke with those closest to her and listened to Sarah too many times to have misunderstood her unabashed pro life stance.

Sarah Palin’s position on the court was for the judges to be constructionist, not interpretive when it came to constitutional questions. She favored overturning of Roe v. Wade.

The one issue that I thought Sarah Palin would never compromise on was her pro life position. With the appointment of Judge Morgan Christen, she has erased all doubts in my mind about the ability of this woman to put political expediency over her stated campaign positions.

What is Sarah Palin?

Just another politician?

Judge Christen is the second time that I am aware that she has allowed politics to eclipse her stance on the right to life. The first was with the association of the group Climate Change Strategies (CCS) with the Palin sub-Cabinet for Climate Change. CCS is funded largely by the most notorious anti-growth and population control—pro abortion—foundations in the U.S.

It is bad enough that CCS is also anti-growth and now affecting and influencing the Palin Administration. How that situation plays into Palin’s pro-development stance, is something that I cannot fathom.

I expressed my concerns to one of her aides very recently regarding the association of CCS with the Palin Administration. Now, comes the appointment of Judge Christen.

With Judge Christen on the bench, what might become of the parental consent bill just introduced in the Alaska Legislature? A bill allegedly supported by Governor Sarah Palin who just appointed a judge philosophically opposed to the premise behind the legislation: the preservation of life and the preservation and recognition of the authority of parents.

Does Sarah Palin honestly believe that Judge Christen will be a ‘constructionist’ when the parental consent bill now in the legislature comes before the court?

I doubt that Judge Christen will be supportive of that legislation, given the predecessor was declared unconstitutional by the Alaska Supreme Court in 2007.

Was her support of that bill some sort of Machiavellian ploy to appease the pro life, family rights crowd, knowing that she would have to support the appointment of a judge philosophically opposed to those viewpoints?

After all, Judge Morgan Christen is a woman. Sarah killed two political birds with one stone. She appointed the “most qualified” from the list given her, and she appointed a woman, the second to Alaska’s Supreme Court.

Thus far, Gov. Sarah Palin has pretty well wiped the slate of
fiscal conservatism,
political propriety in keeping family matters out of State business (Trooper Gate), and, now
any intent on letting her pro life stance influence her political decisions

Did I miss anything?

I wonder how this will play to the national conservatives to whom she appealed when she ran for V.P.?

Will the real Sarah Palin please stand up?

Why a baby was born alive, THEN killed . . .

A baby was born at 23 weeks to an unwed 18 year old. The baby was born while awaiting the arrival of the doctor who was the abortionist. Prior to the arrival of the doctor, the clinic's co-owner cut the umbilical cord, threw the kid on the floor to bleed out, then sealed the baby in a disposable bio hazard bag and threw the now deceased child in the trash! http://www.buffalonews.com/260/story/570428.html

Badly botched abortion?

No. Murder.

Murder, like a partial birth abortion that our President condones and our Speaker Nancy Pelosi grows excited to promote as being necessary to the good health of the . . . mother.

Obama looks at his girls with a loving father's eyes. Yet, he orders the death of untold thousands of the unborn in the U.S. and abroad with the stroke of a pen. How can he in all good conscience reconcile the death of the unborn with his daughters in his presence?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was almost breathless with excitement as she described to the interviewer the need to kill the unborn to save the states . . . money.

My God, what have we done to ourselves that our value of the preservation of life, something our enemies on the battlefield relied upon as our troops would sacrifice themselves to recover the bodies of fallen comrades, has become abhorrent to some Americans. So abhorrent that an American could take a live baby and kill the child without remorse? Worse, without apparent fear of the law in doing so.

A child who by law should have been accorded the full measure of the protection of the Constitution, because by the abortion loving liberals' own declarations, the child was a live birth and, therefore, a "person".

Look at the social agenda on http://www.whitehouse.gov/ .

This is all part of the cheapening of our children by the liberals.

I fully believe that there is an amoral movement, whether planned or just a social devolution, to undermine the family value of life and the worth of the child. To ultimately sexualize the child and desensitize society until all the inhibitions of one's morality, religion, beliefs, character, integrity, and values are compromised to the point that the child becomes . . . a toy for adults to exploit and use until the kid grows up enough to defend his/herself. However, the idea is that then the kid becomes what made him/her, and the cycle will go on and on and on.

Somewhat anti-Christian-Judeo in scope and execution, don't you think?

Ever hear of the North American Man Boy Love Association? NAMBLA openly advocates the use of boys as sexual objects. That this homosexual perversion has been allowed to exist is a credit to the perversity of the ACLU lawyers, many of whom have been indicted and convicted of child sex crimes. Adult males exploiting male children. NAMBLA by any other name.

Ruthie bad girl Ginsberg our Supreme Court Justice and former ACLU and child sex advocate wrote that the age for consensual sex should be lowered to 12 for girls.

What was this 18 year old girl doing in an abortion clinic?

Well, thanks to Planned Parenthood, the hard work of the democrat party, Speaker Pelosi's life long devotion to the cult of killing the unborn for the sake of convenience, National Organization of Women (we hate men, and we don't need any stinking men), NAMBLA, Bill Clinton (I never had sex with that woman and who caused an explosion in the tongue stud industry for young girls and women as a result), and various population control freaks funded by liberal foundations who all have worked hard since the 60s on initiatives to reduce the worth of children, not to forget the media's continual sexualization of our children, is it any wonder that this kid ended up in an abortion clinic instead of an outreach program for unwed mothers?

(How's that for a run on sentence? )

Every time I see an adolescent female with a tongue stud, I wonder just how gullible are the parents, or how envious the mother? There is only one purpose in having such an item installed and it ain't to suck lollipops. Such cheapening accoutrement's send a very clear message to the male population. S-L-U-T.

We parents must not accede to the wishes of young girls who want to emulate manufactured "popular" culture "icons" such as Britney Spears and Hanna Montana. Any parent that lets their female progeny dress inappropriately is a fool and putting their kid in danger. Dad's need to be the judge of his daughter's dress, if mom suffers some sort of sick desire to "live through the kid". Somebody has to act like an adult and care for the kid's safety!

Pastors need to comment to mom and dad if the girls are not dressed appropriately.

Chastity in a girl is something to value, not a derogatory.

No wonder the homosexuals and the socialist left hate Christianity. Morality, once instilled is hard to erase. It can be tarnished, but not erased. Guilt is still there for any act the individual knows is wrong.

Mao Tse Dung had a policy of killing all individuals over 10 years of age when the communist Chinese went into a village to make an example. Why over 10?

At 10 years, the Chicoms believed that the moral character and core beliefs of the individual were ingrained so deeply that no matter what the commies did, that individual could never be trusted.

What do we as Americans, parents, grandparents and Christians do about the assault on our children? Pray. Vote for pro-life candidates. Make our lives an example, and do not remain quiet while our children and our freedoms disappear to the demagoguery of the left. Fight them, challenge the left, force them back into the dark and out of the light. Make organizations NAMBLA cease to exist and the ACLU irrelevant.

Unfortunately, the new Deputy AG for the U.S. is a guy who fought to keep access to porn unfettered in our public libraries along with a defense of the homosexual, anti-family agenda. Porn and homosexual anything before the safety of our kids. Why, that is free speech to be protected, but conservative talk radio is something to be restricted? That's a good lib for you.

(No, I am not a homophobe, just concerned and aware of the agenda of the politically active homosexual extremists.)

Our forefathers were incredibly prescient in their construction of this social experiment we call the United States. One of the attributes they considered indispensable to the health and welfare of the nation and its people was the idea of morality and a belief in God. Without this foundation, the U.S. would cease to exist, and its people doomed to subjugation by those willing to sacrifice their integrity and morality to gain power.

Pray for the United States.

Pelosi' Solution for Fixing the Economy: Abortion

If you are looking for new ideas with respect to the state of the economy and social issues, look no further than http://www.whitehouse.gov/. There, you will not find any new ideas, but you will find a blueprint for change that is definitely socialist and nothing new.

Worse, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has let the cat out of the bag. One of the major solutions to the economic downturn is . . . abortion.

Killing the unborn will save the states money over the life of that child. Therefore, rather than pay for child care, health care, and education, the solution is to kill the kid before the baby is born. (http://www.drudgereport.com/flashpbc.htm, http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=87161)

Hitler had a similar solution.

Stalin had such a solution.

Pol Pot and Rwanda were the most recent examples of this solution.

Killing while still in womb makes it easier to kill once out of the womb.

Yes, grandma Pelosi, let us continue to encourage the killing of someone else's kid. Not yours.

Yes, Pres. Obama, you pat your daughters on the head and smile in pride, but condone the killing of the unborn of others.

Too many white, black and latino from unwed moms who bought into the idea of sexual freedom at the bidding of your party, Mr. Pres and Madam Pelosi. Too many underage. Unprepared. Lacking maturity and judgment for their actions, but encouraged and sold out by adults seeking to use their misery to build power.

I am disgusted and angered that the leadership of this country could embrace such an abhorrent act as abortion as a solution to an economic downturn.

I further believe that this is an example of the "change" and the "new ideas" of the Obama crew, God help us.

There is nothing new here. Just more death and misery.

SARAH PALIN IS THE REAL DEAL.

Sarah Palin is the real deal. She is not made up, coached, or otherwise a construct of anyone other than her environment, upbringing, and moral foundation. She is first and foremost an Alaskan. Her values are immutable, and her ethics firmly established. You will not see Sarah changing her view on the basics.

Sarah is a constructionist when it comes to interpreting the constitution. She believes that the constitution of the United States says what it means, that there are no penumbras, or intepretations of language that is not there or adjustments made to satisfy a liberal mindset. What was written and adopted by our forefathers, is immutable.

Sarah is pro-life. Period. She will not change her views on that issue to get a few votes. I heard her express that sentiment to a lady on Alaska's PBS radio station when running for governor. Sarah simply expressed that she would not change her views on abortion and that she and the listener would simply agree to disagree on that subject.

Sarah is hard core 2d Amendment individual rights.

Sarah is a hunter and fisherwoman who partakes of Alaska's bounty.

Sarah is a strong family oriented individual with sound and solid family values.

Sarah is also a fiscal conservative and someone who believes that government should serve and do no more than what the constitution allows.

Sarah Palin is absolutely not racist. Her family is of mixed heritage, Alaska native and whatever a "Palin" is. (big smiley face goes here.)

How do I know these things?

I supported Sarah's run for governor. I wrote articles in support of her candidacy, and I butted heads with the local pundits who opposed her candidacy.

Sarah will not back down in a fight.

She can be counted on.

Sarah Palin is the real deal.
